Goodcall AI pricing, booking and how LLDTEK compares
Goodcall bills each phone number once a month and books into Google Calendar, which suits some appointment lines far better than others.

Goodcall AI is a self-serve AI phone agent priced by unique caller. $79 a month covers 100 phone numbers, $129 covers 500 and $299 covers 2,000, and spam and wrong numbers are not counted. It books into Google Calendar and answers in English. LLDTEK suits appointment businesses that want agents set up for them beside the booking system they already use.
The billing unit is the interesting part. Goodcall ignores call length and repeat calls and counts only how many different phone numbers reach the agent in a month. That makes it cheap for some appointment lines and dear for others, and the worked example below shows where the line falls.
A note on who is writing: LLDTEK, which sells AI agents to appointment businesses, wrote this comparison, so weigh it accordingly. Each Goodcall claim links to goodcall.com, checked 2026-10-27, and pricing pages change.
What is Goodcall AI?
Goodcall calls itself "An AI answering service and receptionist for your business" (goodcall.com, checked 2026-10-27). You build the agent yourself by talking to Gabi, Goodcall's setup assistant. The how-it-works page tells you to "Tell Gabi what you do, what you charge for, and what you need from a caller", then add services and prices from your website or a PDF. You test it from a browser while Gabi plays practice callers. To go live you forward your existing line, with guides for 24 phone carriers, or take a new local number (Goodcall how it works, checked 2026-10-27).
Inside the agent sit "workers", each a specialist for one job. The pricing page names a booker, a message taker and a knowledge expert, and caps workers by plan. Plain-English edits through Gabi are unlimited on every plan, while test calls draw on an AI usage allowance you can top up $5 at a time (goodcall.com/pricing, checked 2026-10-27).
How does Goodcall book appointments?
The how-it-works page is direct about it: "Bookings go on your Google Calendar" (Goodcall how it works, checked 2026-10-27). The FAQ adds that "GC4 has connections for Google Calendar, Google Sheets, and HighLevel," and that other systems need "a configured API tool or MCP server" (Goodcall FAQ, checked 2026-10-27).
Goodcall's appointment scheduling section is easy to misread. It names Vagaro, Square, Booksy, Mindbody and Zenoti in the titles of comparison articles such as "Vagaro vs Square Appointments", not as booking connections (Goodcall appointment scheduling, checked 2026-10-27). Its Zapier page, offered "for existing Goodcall agents", talks about sending call events to workflows and names no calendar app (Goodcall Zapier page, checked 2026-10-27).
On texts, the FAQ says the agent "can text a caller a confirmation or a link. It can't receive replies yet" (Goodcall FAQ, checked 2026-10-27).
What happens when a caller needs a person?
Goodcall lets you "choose who receives transfers" (goodcall.com/pricing, checked 2026-10-27). If the first person does not pick up, the agent tries the next name on your list, "up to three" (Goodcall how it works, checked 2026-10-27). Transfers do not use up an external tool slot.
Which languages does Goodcall speak?
The how-it-works FAQ asks the question and answers "English, today" (Goodcall how it works, checked 2026-10-27).
How does Goodcall pricing work?
Every figure in this table comes from goodcall.com/pricing, checked 2026-10-27.
Scroll sideways to compare every product.
Call history lasts 30 days on Starter and 90 on Growth, and it is unlimited on Scale. The Enterprise card is for "More than 2,000 customers a month, several connected systems, or a franchise group" and promises "Volume pricing, onboarding and an SLA."
The unit is spelled out in the FAQ. "The same person calling five times in a month is one customer," and spam and wrong numbers are not counted (Goodcall FAQ, checked 2026-10-27). Asked whether minutes, calls or tokens cost extra, the pricing page answers "No. We never meter minutes," and adds that "A thirty-second wrong number and a nine-minute booking cost exactly the same."
Every plan is month to month and includes a local number. There is no annual billing, no pause and no plan under $79. The free demo agent works both ways: you can build and test it before paying, and you can drop back to it later, keeping the setup and giving up the number (Goodcall FAQ, checked 2026-10-27).
Goodcall's call estimates are one and a half times the customer allowance on every plan. Our reading is that Goodcall expects a typical caller to ring about one and a half times a month, so a line whose clients ring more often gets more out of each plan.
A worked example: unique callers against per-minute billing
This is an example to show the arithmetic. The business is a composite of common setups, not a Goodcall or LLDTEK customer, and the call counts are placeholders for the numbers in your own phone records. The 25-cent rate is a round number for illustration, not any vendor's price; published rates are in our AI receptionist cost guide.
A two-table dog grooming salon sends overflow and after-hours calls to an AI agent. Owners call to book, call on the day to ask whether the dog is ready, and call again to move the next appointment. In a normal month the agent takes 210 calls from 120 different numbers. The average call lasts two and a half minutes, so the agent talks for 525 minutes.
In the salon's opening month at a second site, the pattern flips. A local promotion brings 260 calls from 240 different numbers, mostly new owners asking one quick price question each. Those calls average a minute and a half, which comes to 390 minutes.
In the normal month Goodcall Starter is the cheapest line by about $36. In the promotion month the cheapest Goodcall option is Growth at $129, and the per-minute plan beats it by $31.50. The salon and the agent did not change between the two months, yet the cheaper option did.
Three rules come out of the arithmetic.
- Count minutes per caller, not minutes per call. Divide monthly minutes by unique numbers. An extra caller on Starter costs 79 cents, which buys a little over three minutes at 25 cents, so callers who average more than that are cheaper on Goodcall and callers who average less are cheaper by the minute.
- Know the Starter to Growth crossover. At 79 cents per extra caller, Starter passes Growth's $129 at 164 unique callers. From there up to 500, Growth's flat fee is the better buy.
- Repeat calls are free and new callers are not. A regular who phones four times costs the same as one who phones once. A month of first-time callers, from a promotion, a new listing or a seasonal rush, is the most expensive month on this model.
One more quirk follows from counting phone numbers. A household that shares one mobile counts once, while two partners booking the same dog from their own phones count twice. Before comparing bills at all, our missed call revenue calculator shows what the unanswered calls are worth.
What is LLDTEK?
LLDTEK is an AI agent platform for appointment businesses, with five agents covering the front desk, no-show recovery, rebooking, reviews and the live floor. A client who calls, then texts, then writes through your website stays in one conversation. The agents work against the booking system or POS you already use, such as Vagaro, Square, Booksy, Zenoti, Mindbody or OpenTable, and your calendar, checkout and desk person all stay.
You do not build anything. We listen to how your desk sells, connect the book, test real scenarios against it and watch a live day with you before anyone is billed, as laid out on How it works. The agents reply in the language the client used, and on a VIP, a dispute or an off-menu request they stop and hand the whole thread to your staff.
There is no published LLDTEK price. We quote after a thirty-minute demo, and we turn down shops that already answer every ring and teams that want to build their own agents. Goodcall lets you hear an agent tonight for nothing, so a half-hour call before any number is a real cost on our side.
Where does the difference show up?
It shows up in where the visit lands and in what happens to the reply.
Say the grooming salon books in Square. Goodcall connects to Google Calendar directly, so reaching Square would mean an API tool or MCP server that someone configures, and Starter includes one external tool. Ask Goodcall who builds that connection and whether the Google Calendar link itself uses a tool slot. Then book a 90-minute full groom with a named groomer, cancel it, and check in Square that the slot reopened. Our demo checklist lists the other calls worth trying.
The second gap is the text thread. Goodcall can send a confirmation, but a client who replies "can we make it 3 instead?" is texting a line that cannot read replies yet. On an appointment line that reply is often the reschedule itself. LLDTEK's agents keep voice and SMS in one thread, so the reply lands in the same conversation as the call.
If your book already lives in Google Calendar or HighLevel and your callers speak English, neither gap applies, and Goodcall's price and speed are hard to argue with.
Goodcall and LLDTEK at a glance
Choose Goodcall if…
Your appointments already sit in Google Calendar, or your leads go to HighLevel. Goodcall connects to both without a custom build.
Your callers ring back. When one client phones three times about one visit, the second and third calls cost nothing, and spam and wrong numbers never reach the bill.
You want to hear a working agent before you spend anything. Goodcall's demo agent is free until you connect a number, and Gabi takes your edits in plain English.
You want month-to-month terms and a published price. Goodcall offers both, and we offer neither a public price nor a self-serve start.
You or someone on your team is comfortable wiring an API or MCP server to a booking system that Goodcall does not connect to directly.
Choose LLDTEK if…
Your book lives in Vagaro, Square, Booksy, Zenoti, Mindbody or OpenTable, and you want the agent working in that book rather than in a calendar beside it.
Your clients text as much as they call, and a reply needs to reach the same conversation that the phone call started.
Some of your callers prefer a language other than English.
The work you are losing goes past the phone: the cancelled slot nobody fills, the client who leaves without a next visit, the review nobody asked for.
Nobody on your team wants to build or maintain an agent, and you would rather watch a real day with us before paying anything.
